📍📍 How to get to the studio + Important notes

  • The studio is located within a 5-minute walk from “Hapjeong Station Exit 2”, and you can also find it by searching “Menya Hanabi Hapjeong”.

    • The address is “14, Jandari-ro 7an-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul”, and the studio is located on the 4th floor of the building.
      If you have difficulty finding the entrance, please feel free to contact me. I can send you a photo of the entrance or come meet you.
    • Due to noise and music inside the studio, I may not hear knocking.Please make sure to contact me through our previous communication channel once you arrive.

      📍 Mannam Square

  • You may enter the studio from 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.Even if you arrive earlier than that, you will not be able to enter.

    • If there is a client from the previous session, I will not be able to open the door.

      However, if the previous session finishes early, it may be possible—please contact me and I will check.

  • The Hongdae / Hapjeong area can be very crowded.

    • If you take a taxi between 8–10 AM / 3–7 PM, travel time may take longer than expected.
      During these hours, public transportation is recommended.

  • 🚨 If you arrive late by more than 15 minutes, you will be treated as a no-show and won’t proceed.🚨

    • If you wish to reschedule, you will need to make a new reservation and pay the deposit again.

📝 Get your tattoo in the best condition! Don’t forget!

  • I recommend getting enough sleep and having at least a light meal before your appointment.

    • If you remain in a fasting state for a long time, the ink may not settle well, and you may feel more pain than usual.
    • If you haven’t had enough sleep and your condition is low, similar issues may occur, and poor condition can also increase the likelihood of inflammation.
    • If you are unable to eat beforehand, I recommend bringing snacks that are not strong-smelling or crumbly, such as candy or jelly.
      (Especially if you are planning to get multiple tattoos in one session or a larger piece, please make sure to prepare something!)

  • Please refrain from drinking alcohol before your appointment.

    • Alcohol can cause inflammatory reactions in the body. Drinking before your appointment may affect post-procedure inflammation.

📝📝 Can I bring a companion? What about pets?

🚨 Due to studio policy, companions are not allowed inside the workspace. 🚨

  • This is a shared studio used by multiple artists, not a private space.
    Additionally, there is limited waiting space to maintain a comfortable working environment.

    There are many cafés within a 5-minute walk from the studio, so companions are encouraged to wait at a nearby café.

🚨 Pets (dogs or cats) are strictly not allowed. 🚨

  • A large senior dog may be present in the studio, and contact with other animals may cause stress or lead to safety issues.

    We ask for your understanding as this is for everyone’s safety.

📎 Is there anything I should bring or prepare?

Please bring clothing such as short sleeves, shorts, or sleeveless tops depending on the tattoo area.

  • This also helps prevent staining of your clothes from ink. (Tattoo ink or stencil will NOT come off if it gets on clothing.)
  • It allows easier access to the tattoo area, making the process smoother and reducing discomfort from staying in the same position for a long time.

I recommend light exfoliation before your appointment.

  • If there is a buildup of dead skin on the surface, ink absorption may be uneven, and the skin texture may not be smooth during the procedure, which can affect the final result.

    Even simple exfoliation can help achieve a more stable and clearer outcome.

Please make sure to bring your ID.

  • If you do not bring your ID, or if the personal information (date of birth/name) does not match what you provided during booking, the procedure will not be performed.
  • Student IDs are not accepted.

❗ Are there any additional things to keep in mind?

If you would like to request additional work on the day, please let me know in advance!

  • Depending on the situation, same-day additional work may not be possible.
  • If you inform me in advance, I can prepare so that you can receive the additional work on your appointment day, and it can be done at a more reasonable price than the standard rate.

If you would like to pay the remaining balance by card, please let me know in advance.

  • If not mentioned beforehand, the card terminal may not be prepared.
    If needed, please make sure to inform me in advance.
  • Overseas cards may occasionally fail during payment, so we kindly recommend bringing some cash as a backup just in case.
  • Please also note that card payments are only available in Korean Won (KRW). If the deposit or total amount was paid in another currency, card payment will unfortunately not be available.

Additional modifications are not possible once you arrive at the studio.

  • As there is limited time between appointments, making changes during your reserved time may affect the following schedule.

It is okay to get tattooed on a different area than initially discussed. However ❗ if you would like to get tattooed on a highly exposed area, please inform me at least one day in advance.

  • As this is a shared studio, certain situations may feel uncomfortable depending on the area.

    Additionally, if the area is highly exposed or considered a special placement, or if the size becomes larger than originally discussed, additional charges may apply.

I do not provide specific placement recommendations.

  • If I give a strong opinion, it may lead to regret later, even if not immediately. I can provide feedback regarding areas prone to distortion or changes over time, or possible outcomes after the tattoo, but I do not recommend specific placements.

❗❗ Additional Pricing Information

As stated in the pre-booking guide, additional charges will apply if the tattoo is placed on areas other than arms or legs.

If the size increases by about one size from what was discussed, there is no additional charge.

  • However, if it becomes larger than that, additional charges will apply.

Additional charges will also apply if color is added or if a single-color design is changed to a gradient.

  • Adding color or creating gradients requires more time and a more detailed process compared to single-color work, and also increases the amount of ink used.

    Therefore, additional costs may apply. Thank you for your understanding.
